Hanada Rosso: An Organic, Vegan-Friendly Burger Joint in Shibuya

Hanada Rosso is a vegan-friendly burger joint with a fantastic menu of all-organic meals, including condiments, in Shibuya Tokyo.

Doesn’t this sort of thing defy logic? A vegen-friendly burger? The science-loving part of me knows this is possible. The down-home, human side of me is like “what the heck!?”

Yet here we are, burger shops in Tokyo catering to the vegetarian and vegan lifestyle. +1 for progress I guess!

This place is so easy to miss too. It’s tucked away in this tiny little corner.

+Bring cash. They accept a few cards, but looks like Visa or MasterCard holders are out of luck (Tabelog).

+Although vegetarian restaurants have increased in number recently in Japan, the reality is that there are still just a few. In addition, it is rare that supermarkets carry vegetarian ingredients, making it difficult to customize your own vegetarian meal, even if you have vegetable broth.
