There is so much to do in Tokyo that I have yet to do all of it in the 23 years I’ve been here… and there are more new things coming up all the time.
From the ultra-popular Shibuya Crossing to the giant Unicorn Gundam, to the much lesser known mini Statue of Liberty in Odaiba, there’s a plethora of things to see and do while in Tokyo.
At some point in the future, I’ll completely overhaul this page to give you a wrap-up of the big-ticket items so you can plan for those over the more local vibe if that’s your thing.
In the meantime, follow the menu below to the areas of Tokyo you’ll be in. This break down will help you make sense of the vast array of things there are to do in Tokyo.
Inside each area will be collections of articles each dedicated to helping you find something that interests you. Enjoy!
Also, this is only the beginning.
The “things to do in Tokyo” section here is still very much a work in progress. Expect more and better things to crop up over the next few weeks.
There are many more areas to cover and I want to bring it all together here; over time this will become your one-stop-shop for discovering the top sights and local vibe of Tokyo.
And if you have questions or ideas, feel free to contact me. I’m always open to ideas to help others find interesting things to learn while in Tokyo.
